HENDERSON, NV – Third Congressional District Candidate Dina Titus released the following statement today on the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. In honor of the memory of the men and women who lost their lives, the campaign is suspending political advertising today.
“As we mark the seventh anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks, let us pause to remember the men, women, and children who lost their lives in the heinous attack. As our nation continues to mourn their loss, I extend my deepest sympathies to their families, friends, and loved ones. We also reflect on the heroic service and sacrifice of our first responders, law enforcement personnel, and volunteers who risked their lives to save others.
“On this solemn day of remembrance, our thoughts and prayers are also with our brave troops serving in harm’s way to protect our nation in the fight against terrorism. Let us thank them for their service not in words alone, but in our actions when they return home.”
