Peregrine Falcons - The Untold
Story
Families and bird lovers alike join resource specialist Joe
Barnes at the Boulder City Library for an evening program about birds of prey
at Lake Mead NRA, and the once threatened Peregrine Falcon. The latest research
findings will be shared as well as information from the annual Bald Eagle survey
held in early January. Please meet at 7 p.m. and no reservation is required.
The National Park Service is presenting a
variety of guided hikes and programs throughout February. Hikes and programs
will occur at different times and locations in Lake Mead National Recreation
Area. For more information and reservations call the Alan Bible Visitor Center
at 702.293.8990 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Reservations are
required on all hikes. Please leave dogs at home unless the hike states
otherwise.
