Gartner Symposium/ITxpo 2008: Emerging Trends will bring together 110 Gartner analysts, hundreds of solutions providers and thousands of attendees in Las Vegas to discuss and debate the impact of breakthrough technologies on all businesses. This years sessions will be based on six mega-trends:

Advance: Redefining IT Organizations and Competencies. What does the next decade of the IT organization look like? How can IT leaders advance their business intelligence? Do enterprise architects have the ability to initiate innovation?

This years keynotes include Innovator Interviews. These keynotes will include top innovators who are driving change with next-horizon technologies. Gartner analysts will ask how they drive innovation, why they choose the initiatives they do, and how they measure their successes and failures. Keynotes include:

  • Innovator Interview with Craig Mundie, chief of research and strategy officer, Microsoft Corp.
