DKMS Americas and Jillian’s Las Vegas will host a donor drive to recruit potential life-saving donors for patients such as Erica Murray, in need of a bone marrow transplant.
Registration only requires paperwork and simple swab of the inner cheek. Tissue typing will be anonymously listed on the national registry, National Marrow Donor Center (NMDC), searched by doctors each day looking for a life saving match for their patients.
Erica Murray was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL), spending the past two years getting treatments. After going into remission this past March, Erica has since been diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a more aggressive type of leukemia.
