Howie Mandel has been a mainstay in
the comedy world for more than 30 years.
After trying his luck during amateur night at Los Angeles’ legendary
Comedy Store in 1979, Mandel landed a spot on the game show “Make Me
Laugh.” This opportunity led to talk
show appearances, a brief stint as an opening act for Diana Ross and eventually
the hit NBC drama “St. Elsewhere” where he remained for six seasons. He later created, produced and was a one of
the voices in the popular children series “Bobby’s World,” which ran on FOX for
eight seasons.
Mandel has performed in multiple comedy specials on both cable and
network television, hosted his own syndicated talk show “The Howie Mandel Show,”
and made frequent appearances on “The Tonight Show” and “Live with Regis and
Kelly.” Mandel also continues to
entertain audiences throughout the United States with his striking wit
and impeccable comedic timing during his numerous live performances.
