Sarah Silverman, one of the funniest, most controversial American comedians of our time, returns to the Hard Rock with two shows this June. Sometimes credited by her nicknames “Big S” or “Sarah ‘Big S’ Silverman,” her comedy deals with topical humor and satire, societal taboos and borderline risky topics such as racism, sexism and religion. Silverman was first noticed as a writer and performer on “Saturday Night Live” on the 1993-1994 season. Since then she’s made numerous appearances on popular shows including “The Larry Sanders Show” “Seinfield,” “Frasier,” “Monk” and “The Andy Milonakis Show.” Last year was a huge year for Silverman as she hosted the MTV Movie Awards and debuted her own Comedy Central sitcom, “The Sarah Silverman Program” in February. The show scored the highest premiere ratings that a Comedy Central show has had in three years with more than1.8 million viewers.
