The IMAX Theatre features a screen measuring nearly seven stories high
that shows films with 10 times the number of frames found in conventional 35 mm
films. The result is awe-inspiring 2-D
and 3-D images that envelop viewers and pull them into other worlds – from the
far reaches of outer space to the lowest depths of the sea.
The 312-seat theatre also features a 15,000-watt
sound system. An eight-channel
multidimensional, digital surround-system is incorporated into the IMAX
Personal Sound Environment headset.
