LAS VEGAS – January 28, 2008 – Black Diamond “The Ultimate Tribute to KISS,” to perform at the Cannery Casino & Hotel on Friday, February 15 and Saturday, February 16. The tribute act performs a wide selection of hit songs from one of the most influential groups in history. The concerts begin each night at 8 p.m. at The Club inside the Cannery Casino & Hotel. Admission is $5 at the door.
Seven years and over a thousand shows later, Black Diamond has impressed Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley so much that they have mentioned Black Diamond on MTV and in magazines. Just recently in Las Vegas, Gene Simmons himself called upon Black Diamond to promote his new KISS cartoon at NATPE 2002. KISS called on them again to put their signature makeup on models for the 2003 drag racing finals. For the last seven years, Black Diamond has toured around the world playing in countries such as Japan and the Cayman Islands and has covered Canada and the United States numerous times. Black Diamond has also opened up for KISS in Dallas, Texas before the original band decided to put their makeup back on.
Black Diamond portrays the 1977 era of KISS where they were at their performance and popularity peak. Black Diamond wears the Love Gun costumes but they play songs from not only that era but also the best from 1974 to 1980.
