From the Airport To your hotel
There are quite a few different ways to get from the airport to your hotel -
no matter where in the valley it is - AND - In Las Vegas - getting there can
be 1/2 the fun! From a Taxi or Shuttle - to a exotic car or limousine rental - you can find it all waiting for you at your beck and call! |

Taxi:
Right outside of baggage claim is the taxi que!
There are usually plenty of cabs waiting in line
- so no need to call one. But you can find a list
of cab companies here
Note:
- Up to five passengers can ride in a taxicab
for the one price listed on the taximeter
(passengers cannot be charged individually).
- There is a $1.20 charge on all fares originating
at the airport.
- TAXI CABS IN SOUTHERN NEVADA DO NOT ACCEPT
CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS AS PAYMENT
IMPORTANT
NOTE: The shortest DISTANCE to the strip
is via surface streets - however - that is not
to say
that it is the shortest in TIME! Depending upon
the time of your arrival - you may want to ask
the driver to "tunnel it" to your destination!
It is more expensive this way - but if you're
in a hurry - it is usually the fastest way there.
CONVERSLY - "tunneling" without your
permission is against the law - so if you have
found yourself
in a tunnel without asking to be there - a quick
mention of the legality of his actions will usually
cause the driver to shut off the meter until he
gets back onto surface streets! If not - PLEASE
get the license number of the cab, and the drivers
name and report him to the taxi authority by filling
out the complaint form that you can find here. Or
you can contact directly via snail mail, fax or
phone here...
