Speaker Nancy Pelosi thinks she’s back in kindergarten – at her weekly press conference she said…
“If anybody’s going apologize, everybody should apologize,” in regards to whether or not Rep. Alan Grayson should apologize for his “Die quickly” remark “since Republicans have made statements just as outrageous as his.”
FYI: Rep. Alan Grayson remarks came in a presentation on the House floor this past Tuesday in which he stated “if you’re sick, America, the Republican healthcare plan is this: Die Quickly. This remark came complete with a sign stating the same!
When the republicans demanded an apology for those remarks – Grayson returned to the podium and called the deaths of Americans who didn’t have health insurance “a holocaust”
“I apologize to the dead and their families that we haven’t voted sooner to end this holocaust in America…”
Trouble is – Pelosi couldn’t point to a single example, where a republican accused the democrats of wanting people to die quickly, slowly, or any other way except by natural causes.
I really hope the good people of San Francisco vote this lady out of office – so she and her husband can sit back and enjoy the fruits of her labor in congress, and we can get a speaker of the house – a LEADER in the house of representatives that knows how to lead, and how to get the right thing done.
And as for Grayson? Well, he’s on the far left wing talk show circuit raising “much needed campaign funds” for his upcoming election – and throwing fuel on the fire by calling republicans…
“foot-dragging, knuckle dragging neanderthals who know nothing but ‘no.’”
