Folks I figure before the list gets to unmanageable – somebody better start keeping a list of those unfortunate people and/or organizations that are ending up on the White House so enemies list – or as I prefer to call it the “Sh*t List.”

So here is my attempt at that…and the winners are…in no particular order

  • The First Amendment
    • for allowing news organizations, commentators and others to have and express dissenting opinions
    • for organizing the Presidential News Pool to stand against leaving Fox News out of an interview.
  • Chrysler Bondholders
    • for daring to speak out against the bail out program designing by the administration
  • Pharmaceutical Executives
  • Hospital Executives
  • Insurance Executives
  • Wall Street Executives
  • Any Elected Republican In Office
    • Especially…
      • Sen. Jon Kyl (R-AZ) – for criticizing the Obama Stimulus plan
      • Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) – for speaking out against the Health Care Reform, including a hate crime bill in a Defense Bill and for warning the WH NOT to create an Enemies List – on of all places “Fox and Friends”
      • Sen. Robert Bennett (R-Utah) – for among other things daring to question to the role of the so called “czars” who ARE NOT vetted, investigated or confirmed by the Senate- and whether they are diluting the role of cabinet secretaries, who ARE confirmed in the Senate and are subject to congressional oversight, in shaping public policy.
      • House Minority Whip Sen. Eric Cantor (R-VA) -  for being a possible threat to the Presidents re-election in 2012
  • The United States Chamber of Commerce
  • Any Elected Republican no longer in Office
  • Radio Talk Show Host Rush Limbaugh
  • Fox News Commentator: Glenn Beck
  • Fox News Commentator: Sean Hannity
  • Fox News Commentator: Bill O’reilly
  • Anybody else that works at Fox News

I’ll add to the list as the White House adds them.

Speaking truth to power has never been so…ah…dangerous before.
