Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said he “still” smelled sulfur after President Obama made a keynote speech at the Copenhagen climate conference Friday…for all practical purposes accusing Obama of carrying the same satanic scent that George W. Bush carried.
I thought Chavez and Obama got along? Especially after all those photos a couple of months back, and President Obama accepting a copy of his book!
But wait – that’s not all. Now you know that I had some problems with President Obama being awarded the Nobel Peace prize – who didn’t. But Chavez is now referring to President Obama – IN HIS SPEECH as the “The Noble Prize of War saying…
“The Nobel Prize of War just finished saying here that he is here to act. Well, show it sir. Don’t leave by the back door,”
Chavez was cheered on by the assembled world leaders attacking all things capitalistic – and even received standing ovations from the leaders of the Third World.
He berated developed nations for creating imperial dictatorships that rule the world and told his audience to “fight against capitalism” – the “silent and terrible ghost”
He called upon” spiritual leaders”…specifically Jesus, Muhammad and Karl Marx – KARL MARX?
He accused the negotiations of being held behind closed doors, of being top secret and not democratic!
But in the end he did end his speech on topic saying…
“If we don’t do this, then the great creation of our planet — humans — will disappear,” he said. “It doesn’t need us, but we can’t exist without it. We’re destroying it…destroying mother earth.”
So as always I will end this post about Chavez with a question – a question that only President Obama and Congress can answer…
With all the wonderful things that Chavez says about the United States of America, about our Presidents – both Bush & Obama – WHY do we allow him to operate within our boarders? He is NOT a friend of ours in any sense of the word – and he takes every opportunity to berate us – all the while committing atrocities within the boarders of his own country! Do we really need his oil THAT bad?
