Alaska Airlines to buy Virgin America for around $4 billion. Both airlines announced their new merger agreement, in which the Alaska Air Group will acquire Virgin America at $57 per share in cash. Following the acquisition, Alaska Airlines said the combined airlines will lead to as much as 1,200 daily departures serviced by a fleet of 280 aircraft. Virgin America’s own fleet consists of 60 Airbus A319 and A320. Air France lets female flight staff opt out of Tehran service instead of wearing a headscarf. The airline said it will give female stewardesses and pilots the option not to fly to Tehran and instead work on a different fight. According to a recent report from KrebsOnSecurity, three sources in the financial sector have remarked that there seems to be a pattern of fraud found on customer credit cards, which may indicate that there are breached credit card systems at the Trump Hotel Collection properties. In response, the Trump Hotels issued a statement saying, “We are in the midst of a thorough investigation on this matter. We are committed to safeguarding all guests’ personal information and will continue to do so vigilantly.” Man escapes dangling vehicle, gets hit by oncoming bus. A male driver had lost control of his vehicle and nearly went over the side of the road. When he escaped, however, he ended up getting struck by a tour bus. It was 4:30 in the afternoon when the Malibu-Lost Hills Sheriff’s Station were alerted to an accident along the Malibu Canyon Road. According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs Department, the man was found conscious and breathing. He has now been transported to a local hospital for treatment. According to The Hollywood Reporter, British actor Duane Henry has been given a recurring role throughout the final episodes of season 13. Moreover, there is also an option to make him a regular cast member for next season. Henry is set to play Clayton Reeves, an MI-6 officer turned government agent. According to showrunner Gary Glasberg, “We think we found something really special in Duane Henry. His unique blend of charm, heart and athletic physicality is going to be a great addition to the mix.” Actor Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo, is set to exit the series at the end of its current season.
