The City of North Las Vegas is pleased to announce BalloonaPalooza II, a three-day hot air balloon festival at Craig Ranch Regional Park, 780 W. Craig Road. The park boasts more than 6,000 trees, acres of rolling greens and sparkling ponds.
Admission to BalloonaPalooza II is free. Parking is $5.
The three-day schedule will be:
• Friday, Sept. 21, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.
• Saturday, Sept. 22, from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m.
• Sunday, Sept. 23, from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.
BalloonaPalooza II promises to be the premier ballooning event of Southern Nevada. The event features balloon glows, balloon tethering, flights and awe-inspiring special shaped balloons, such as the Wells Fargo “Honey Bees.” BalloonaPalooza II this year welcomes “Reach for the Stars,” a hot air balloon designed to board passengers who use a wheel chair. The festival also features an interactive balloon tent with a walk-in balloon the public can explore.
BalloonaPalooza II includes a full-sized carnival provided by Davis Amusements Cascadia, American Crown Circus, food and craft vendors, top notch entertainers on two stages and a spectacular fireworks display provided by Pyrotecnico.
