March of Dimes to Host Signature Chefs of Las Vegas at The Venetian

Las Vegas, Nevada (October 3, 2007) - The March of Dimes Signature Chefs of Las Vegas presented by the The Venetian Resort- Hotel -Casino and Wells Fargo Bank, considered by countless attendees as the Valley’s “Best Eating Event,” will once again please the palates of hundreds of Las Vegans as they contribute to saving our community’s babies on Saturday, October 13, 2007 at The Venetian Resort- Hotel -Casino.
Festivities for the tenth annual event are scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm with a professional photo opportunity, cocktail reception and silent auction. Following will be a live auction and a magnificent culinary sampling courtesy of our very own “Signature Chefs” and sommeliers presenting wines from Southern Wine and Spirits of Nevada.
Host Executive Chef, Luciano Pellegrini of Piero Selvaggio’s Valentino at The Venetian is just one of more than 30 top chefs (additional participating chefs listed below) in the Las Vegas Valley expected to prepare signature dishes in addition to some new culinary fare.
The Venetian Resort- Hotel- Casino and Wells Fargo Bank are the presenting sponsors for this year’s event. Other sponsors include Bank of America, Bernard K. Individual tickets for Signature Chefs of Las Vegas are $250 per person, with tables of 10 available for $2,500 per table. Proceeds from the March of Dimes Signature Chefs Auction will fund research to develop new treatments for birth defects and infant health problems, in addition to supporting prenatal education programs meant to educate families about lifestyle choices that produce healthier babies.
