The Men of Chippendales Celebrate 2,000 Performances

LAS VEGAS – September 28, 2007 – Chippendales®, the longest running male revue is set to celebrate 2,000 performances with Las Vegas’ hottest men at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2007. This milestone adds to an already impressive year for the Men of Chippendales.  In addition to reaching their 2,000th performance, 2007 also marks the fifth anniversary of the Chippendales at the Rio where they have been eliciting a wave of screams from their excited audiences nightly in their very own multi-million dollar Chippendales Theater.
 
2007 is proving to be another blockbuster year for Chippendales. In addition to thrilling audiences, the Men of Chippendales have been just as powerful with the media.  Entertainment Tonight’s “The Insider” calls the Chippendales “the most wanted men in Vegas,” and, Inside Edition adds that the Chippendales are “putting the ‘sin’ back in ‘Sin City’!”  
 
2,000 performances is not the only impressive number for the Chippendales.  Each year the men bench press more than 3,300 pounds in the gym, discard 57,408 garments during their performances and bring more than 5,200 girls on stage to be a part of the show. Capturing the perfect balance of sex appeal and tasteful teasing, the show’s steamy vignettes portray everything from men in uniform to dusty cowboys as the men perform and play out multiple fantasies in a full production show. Throughout the show the men of Chippendales provide plenty of hands-on interaction for those wanting a closer look at their favorite man.
