Losing with a good hand in poker can be frustrating. But,
Circus Circus Reno wants to take away that frustration by giving you a chance to
win, even when you lose!
Come play in our recently remodeled Poker Room
and you could win a progressive Mini Bad Beat Jackpot!
A Bad Beat is when
a player has a really good hand in a poker game, but still gets beat. The Mini
Bad Beat Jackpot allows you to still win some money, depending on the winning
hand that beat yours.
Each week, the qualifying hand changes depending
on whether the jackpot has hit yet, beginning with four Aces and moving down to
four Kings, and so on.
The jackpot will have a max payout of $8,000
payable between the player with the Mini Bad Beat, the winner of the pot, and
the rest of the players at the table.
The Poker Room at Circus Circus
always has a seat for you at one of the greatest card games ever created, Texas
Hold’em. Everyone is welcome, from novices to self-proclaimed experts. Circus
Circus offers tournaments for the beginner and the experienced alike, and the
Poker Room staff is the friendliest in Reno, happy to answer any questions you
might have.
The “Biggest Little Poker Tournament in Reno,” a Texas
Hold’em tournament, is great for beginners and is held seven days a week with a
buy-in of only $17. Enjoy our “No Limit Hold’em Tournament” held Tuesdays and
Thursdays with a $20 buy-in, or the very popular “Biggest Little No Limit Game”
with a minimum Buy-In of $50. We also offer “Sit and Go” play, 2-4 and 3-6 Limit
Hold’em.
Complete rules of the Mini Bad Beat Progressive Jackpot are
posted in the Poker Room, located near our Virginia Street entrance. For more
information, call (775) 329-0711.
