Reno, Nev. - Grand Sierra Resort and Casino launches "Press Your Luck", an
exciting new game giving guests an opportunity to win cash and prizes. The
casino promotion runs from August 13 through the end of September.
The
interactive contest takes place each night at 7 p.m. when five lucky contestants
chosen by a drawing will have the opportunity to win cash and prizes by
participating in a three-minute slot tournament. The winner of the slot
tournament will be eligible to play "Press Your Luck" while the remaining
contestants will receive a cash prize of $50 and dinner for two in the
buffet.
"Press Your Luck" consists of three gaming levels including The
Cash Cube, Cash Wheel and Cash Popper. When inside the Cash Cube, contestants
attempt to collect as much cash as possible from the 100 bills totaling $685
inside. Next, the contestant will have the choice to keep the cash or risk
losing it all by spinning the Cash Wheel which may increase their winnings by up
to five times. Once the participant finishes his or her turn at the Cash Wheel
he or she will be offered another chance to take the money and run or gamble
with the Cash Popper which can increase the winnings up to five times
more.
Tickets for the "Press Your Luck" drawing are available at the
Player's Club. Participants may swipe their Comps Plus card once each day at the
promotional machine to receive one entry into the nightly drawing. Participants
will receive one drawing ticket for each 100 points earned during the promotion
period and may receive additional entries into the drawings by redeeming club
promotional points. In addition, guests will also be able to earn drawing
tickets for new club sign-ups.
