Laughlin, Nev. –Texas 7 Poker is the all-new easy-to-learn table
game that offers players an exciting twist on their favorite Texas Hold ‘em. The
fast-paced card game gives participants the opportunity to win payouts totaling
more than 50 to 1. What separates Texas 7 Poker from other table games is that
it is played in the casino pit, rather than the poker room and is just the first
of many exclusive games the management at Edgewater and Colorado Belle plan to
offer guests.
“We are always looking to provide players with the newest and most
exciting games in town,” said Vice President of Gaming Operations Richard
Strafella. “The addition of Texas 7 Poker will change the dynamic of our pit
areas, creating a one-of-a-kind gaming experience in the market.”
Texas 7 Poker players compete against the house dealer using their
two hole cards and five community cards. In addition to “Ante” and “Play” bets,
players have the option to place a bonus “Twenty Plus” bet, a separate bet based
on the player’s first two hole cards. “We are receiving a tremendous response
from guests,” said Strafella. “If you have a passion for Poker, this is your
game!”
Texas 7 Poker is just one of the many cutting edge products that
players can enjoy at the Edgewater and Colorado Belle. The company’s
long-standing relationships with gaming vendors have given them the opportunity
to provide players with the most exciting, entertaining gaming experience
possible. Throughout the casino floors of both properties, players will discover
an abundance of interactive video reel machines.
“Our video reel machines are available in all denominations from
one cent to $10, allowing all levels of players to experience the exciting
entertainment features these games provide,” says Strafella.
Edgewater and Colorado Belle are one of the few casinos in town to
provide a variety of video poker machines with over 100% payback. Strafella adds
that “We also offer the popular Wizard of Oz video reel machines at both
resorts, as well as Monopoly Super Money Grab at the Edgewater currently. Both
are penny machines and include bonus features that make the games even more
entertaining.” In addition, full pay programs in all denominations are available
on video keno machines, so whether five cents or 25 cents is bet, the player
receives a higher pay table advantage.
The properties have also upped the ante when it comes to prizes.
An Infiniti G35 can be won at both properties by playing five reel penny
machines in the car carousel area. Two of the vehicles have been awarded since
Marnell Sher Gaming, LLC acquired the properties in June, and with just a
maximum bet of 90 cents, other players may drive home winners too.
According to Strafella, there’s also much to celebrate about being
a tables game player, with games to satisfy all levels of play. Table players
also receive all the benefits of the ACCESS Players Club. The comfortable pit
area at each casino includes an array of all-time favorite table games in
addition to other fun card games such as Pai Gow Poker, Let It Ride and 3 Card
Poker. “The mix of table games is conducive to our customer’s varying betting
preferences,” said Strafella. “We offer your favorite games in a variety of
styles. For example, our six deck shoe Blackjack game allows players to double
down on any first two cards, split aces up to four times and double down on
split cards. You won’t find these options at many places. The rules are very
liberal and are to the player’s advantage.”
When it comes to poker, the Edgewater and Colorado Belle offer
comfortable poker rooms where guests may play popular games such as Texas Hold
‘em and Seven Card Stud. Colorado Belle’s state-of-the-art room includes plush
new chairs, tables and shuffle machines as well as an automated seating system
which allows guests to get in on the game even faster. A complimentary buffet is
also offered daily at 5 pm.
The Colorado Belle and Edgewater Casino Resorts are owned and
operated by Marnell Sher Gaming, LLC, a limited liability corporation which owns
and develops gaming establishments in Pahrump, Nevada, and Laughlin, Nevada. The
corporation develops, expands and acquires gaming-related properties and is
focused on providing a unique portfolio of gaming offerings to its guests.
