Cannery Casino Resorts Receives Two Best of Las Vegas 2008 Awards

Cannery Casino Resorts is pleased to announce they have received Best of Las Vegas 2008 awards for the Best Football Contest as well as Best Mexican Restaurant within the “Hotels” category.
“We are thrilled that the Las Vegas Review-Journal staff selected our Fantasy Football Contest and Cannery Casino & Hotel’s Casa Cocina for Best of Las Vegas awards,” said Bill Wortman, principal of Cannery Casino Resorts. “We pride ourselves on providing great service to our customers, and receiving awards like these really excites and motivates our team.”
The Fantasy Football Contest consisted of a 17-week regular season contest at Cannery Casino & Hotel and Rampart Casino, in which the first place weekly winner received $5,000 and automatic entry into the playoff mini-contest. The top 50 season-long accumulative points winners also received an entry into the playoff mini-contest. The playoffs mini-contest took place over threeweeks and paid out the top 10 winners.
