Lake Las Vegas, Nev. (Spring 2008) — Meeting planners will soon have greater options at the Tuscan-inspired Southern Nevada destination, MonteLago Village Resort, Lake Las Vegas. MonteLago is adding 3,829 square-feet of meeting/event space to its existing 6,127 square-feet of space with the addition of the new Riva di Lago Events Center.
The new function area will be available to groups in April 2008 and will total indoor meeting/event space to approximately 10,000 square-feet. A number of outdoor locations are also available and highlight the natural setting of Lake Las Vegas for banquets, receptions and other special events including a large pool patio overlooking the lake, yacht cruises, and restaurants such as Como’s, Bistro Zinc and The Kitchen at Sunset & Vines.
Riva di Lago Events Center is situated lakeside, adjacent to the resort’s marina with spectacular views of Lake Las Vegas and the desert mountains. Its layout will consist of a 500 square-foot conference room and a 3,329 square-foot great room that can be divided by an airwall into two separate smaller areas, Riva di Lago East; 1,570 square-feet and Riva di Lago West; 1,726 square-feet.
