Summer savings at Marriott, Renaissance and Courtyard hotels are popping up all over the world with great values on rooms and vacation packages.
• Escape!® Packages: Marriott’s best selling Escape!® packages are offered across Marriott and Renaissance branded hotels worldwide. Go to www.marriott.com/escape, choose your dates and select any one of five package types – family, golf, romance, dining and spa. Specific hotel offerings will vary, but the Escape!® Family Time package will include free meals for up to 4 children ages 12 and under. The Escape! ® Golf package includes an 18-hole round of golf. And Escape! ® Romance packages include breakfast for two, and champagne.
• Family Fun, Music & Romance at Renaissance: Renaissance Hotels & Resorts are offering exciting and unique packages fit for every budget. For the family, the Renaissance St. Louis Grand and the Renaissance Pittsburgh are offering baseball themed packages. The Renaissance Nashville is offering a music-themed package and the Renaissance Hollywood puts the spotlight on the hit musical Wicked with a special themed dinner package. The Renaissance New Orleans has a girls bonding weekend package. Both The Blackstone in Chicago and the Inn at Bay Harbor, a Renaissance Golf Resort, are offering romantic weekends with rose petal turn down and sparkling wine. Renaissance hotels in Austin, Minneapolis and Oklahoma City are giving guests gas cards to help cover the cost their car travel. At the Renaissance Chancery Court London, expectant parents can book the Ultra Special Babymoon package on Friday through Saturday, including breakfast in bed, a Musical Energy Balance treatment in the Spa, Yummy Mummy’s Survival Guide book, a selection of foodie treats and unlimited complimentary movies.
• Dive In at Marriott: Marriott Hotels & Resorts worldwide are also offering packages for summer. For example, the Brisbane Marriott Hotel recently announced its “Discover Queensland as a Millionaire!” The all-inclusive package priced at $6,500 AUD ($6,055 USD) is available from June 30 through December 31, 2008, and includes hotel accommodation, chauffeured limousine to all activities, helicopter tour and champagne beach picnic, diving and spa services. The JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa offers a “Bridal Shape-up Package.” This 3-day, 2-night package starts at $2,425 and includes personal training sessions, date scrub, facial, make up consultation, spa and fitness center access and welcome gift.
• Stay for Breakfast®: Guests who book either the weekend promotion rate or the Stay for Breakfast® rate at participating Marriott® and JW® Marriott Hotels & Resorts in the U.S. with a Visa® card will receive a $25 pre-paid Visa Gift Card while supplies last. Stays must take place between June 1 and September 1, 2008.
• Courtyard Summer Weekend Rates: Families planning vacations in North America can book a room this summer and enjoy everything Courtyard by Marriott® has to offer. Room rates range from $79 - $129 a night when staying over a Friday or Saturday at participating Courtyard hotels
• Marriott Rewards: Marriott Rewards members who book 10 rooms or more can earn 25,000 Marriott Rewards bonus points per qualifying meeting or event held between June 1 and September 30, 2008 and paid for with any American Express Card. This is in addition to the Marriott Rewards points members regularly earn for their meetings or events. Registration is required. • Green Meetings: For meetings or stays of 10 rooms or more booked during select dates, participating Marriott hotels around the world will contribute funds equal to five percent of the total cost of the group’s guest rooms to protect the critically endangered Brazilian Amazonas rainforest. Donations will be made in the name of the group as part of Marriott’s ongoing rainforest protection plan.
