TULSA, Okla., Sept. 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Dollar Rent A Car, a subsidiary of Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE:DTG) , announced today it will join the ATA Airlines Travel Awards frequent flyer program effective September 6, 2006.
To celebrate the alliance, Dollar will offer double (150 Points) the regular award of 75 Travel Awards Points when customers rent a compact or larger vehicle for two days or more at participating locations. This bonus offer is valid from September 6 through November 15, 2006. Customers must use the promotional code ATAD when making their reservation and present their Travel Awards number at the time of pick up.
