Low-Fare Carrier Offers Some of the Lowest Refundable
Fares in the Industry

NEW YORK, Jan. 28, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- For the traveler whose plans keep changing, JetBlue Airways Corporation (Nasdaq:JBLU) today begins offering more convenience and flexibility with the launch of Refundable Fares. This new fare option, available direct from JetBlue at www.jetblue.com or by calling 800-JETBLUE, and from many third-party channels, including all Global Distribution Systems, gives customers who require frequent travel changes an easier and more affordable way to enjoy the award-winning JetBlue Experience.

"JetBlue's new refundable fares offer another affordable and convenient fare option for travelers who want a money-back guarantee," said Don Uselmann, Manager of Sales Programs for JetBlue Airways. "While the nonrefundable fares we offer are already very flexible, we recognize that there are some business and leisure travelers who need even greater flexibility when they fly. After choosing the desired fare option, the next decision our customers make will be which of our 36 free channels of live TV to watch, how many tasty and complimentary snacks they'll enjoy or what they'll do with all that extra legroom in our comfy leather seats."

The low-cost carrier's Refundable Fares allow customers to make unlimited reservation changes, including name changes, or opt for a full refund any time prior to the flight's departure. Changes can be made quickly and easily at www.jetblue.com via the 'Manage Flights' function or by calling the airline's reservations team at 800-JETBLUE.

If a customer is unable to notify JetBlue of a change to their reservation before the flight departs, any unused funds are converted to a JetBlue credit valid for one year from the date it is issued. This credit is fee-free and fully transferable.

To celebrate the launch of its new fare option, through February 13 JetBlue is offering TrueBlue Customers who book refundable travel quadruple TrueBlue points each way when they book online at www.jetblue.com, or triple TrueBlue points each way when booking through other channels. TrueBlue, JetBlue's customer loyalty program, offers fliers easy-to-earn, easy-to-redeem awards for travel across JetBlue's network of 53 popular destinations. Points, excluding this special offer, are automatically doubled when TrueBlue members book via www.jetblue.com. A free roundtrip flight, valid for travel to any of JetBlue's destinations is awarded immediately after a customer reaches 100 points(a).

JetBlue already offers customers competitive nonrefundable fares, allowing flight cancellations for a nominal $50 per person processing fee when calling 800-JETBLUE. The remaining money is transferred into a JetBlue credit good for future travel on the airline. These credits are 100 percent transferable and may be redeemed up to one year after the date of issuance. Customers can save $10 when canceling reservations at www.jetblue.com/manageflights.

New York-based JetBlue Airways has created a new airline category based on value, service and style. Known for its award-winning service and free TV as much as its low fares, JetBlue is now pleased to offer customers the most legroom throughout coach (based on average fleet-wide seat pitch for U.S. airlines). JetBlue introduced complimentary in-flight e-mail and instant messaging services on aircraft "BetaBlue," a first among U.S. domestic airlines. JetBlue is also America's first and only airline to offer its own Customer Bill of Rights, with meaningful and specific compensation for customers inconvenienced by service disruptions within JetBlue's control. Visit www.jetblue.com/promise for details. JetBlue serves 53 cities with 550 daily flights. With JetBlue, all seats are assigned, all travel is ticketless, all fares are one-way, and an overnight stay is never required. For information or reservations call 1-800-JETBLUE (1-800-538-2583) or visit www.jetblue.com.
