The warm weather of
spring is here, and soon the temperatures in Las Vegas will be soaring into the triple
digits! Get out of the heat and into the
cool, rich surroundings of Morton’s The Steakhouse with a Palm Beach Infusion or a variety of
refreshing cocktails and Heavenly Mortinis.
“Morton’s bartenders mix cocktails with only the best ingredients
available,” said Daniel Hurst,” general manager of Morton’s The Steakhouse in Las Vegas. “The Palm
Beach Infusion is made with fresh pineapple and mint,
which makes it a great choice for the warmer weather. Guests can choose from our award-winning wine
menu, signature Mortinis or any favorite drink.”
The Palm Beach
Infusion brings visions of summer days relaxing with a chilled cocktail at the
pool. Why not mix a batch for the next

The “Morton’s Steak Bible,” co-written by co-founder of Morton’s The
Steakhouse Klaus Fritsch, is filled with great cocktail recipes, appetizers,
entrees and desserts, as well as easy-to-follow directions for the at-home
bartender and chef.

For those bartenders at home, Morton’s is sharing the recipe for the Palm Beach Infusion.
PLAM BEACH INFUSION
Serves 1
3 ounces Infused Vodka (recipe follows)*
1 tablespoon pineapple juice
1 tablespoon Monin cherry syrup
1 fresh mint leaf, for garnish
Preparation
- Pour
the vodka, pineapple juice and cherry syrup into a cocktail shaker filled
with ice cubes. Shake 15 times.
- Strain
into a chilled martini glass and garnish with the mint leaf.
*INFUSED VODKA
Makes about ½ liter
1 pineapple, peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
½ liter vodka
4 to 5 fresh mint springs (small bunch)
- Put
the pineapple slices in a large, non-reactive jar or other container with
a lid. Pour the vodka over the
fruit and add the mint sprigs.
Cover tightly and set aside at room temperature for 24 hours.
- Strain
the vodka and discard the fruit.
Refrigerate for up to 10 days.
