Aquarius Casino Resort to Host Cinco De Mayo Festival

May 1, 2008 – Laughlin, Nev. – The Aquarius Casino Resort will host a variety of specials and promotions as part of its Cinco De Mayo Festival beginning Friday, May 2 and running through Monday, May 5. Events include live performances each night by Area 51 from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. at Splash Cabaret, and a Mariachi band strolling the property.
Food and beverage specials are being offered from Friday, May 2 through Monday, May 5. Cazadores Tequila Sunrise drinks will be offered at all casino bars for $3 and guests will be given a souvenir glass while supplies last. During the festival, guests can dine on a cheese enchilada platter for $7.99 at the Café Aquarius and on May 5, Windows on the River Buffet will offer a selection of South-of-the-Border favorites. The buffet is available for $12.99 with an A.C.E. Rewards card and $14.99 without an A.C.E Rewards card. Children age three and under eat for free.
On May 3 and May 5, the Aquarius Pavilion with host a Cinco De Mayo Fiesta featuring strolling mariachis, dinner, two drinks, plus a souvenir cactus margarita glass and sombrero. Dinner includes chips and salsa, a beef and chicken taco bar, tamales, taquitos, Spanish rice, refried beans, flan and churros. The festival is $25.50 plus tax.
