Though summer doesn’t officially begin until June 21, Jack in the Box®
restaurants can’t keep a lid on its tasty new salad inspired by summertime
backyard barbecues – the BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, which features several
upgrades the quick-serve chain has made to its entire line of Jack’s Ultimate
Salads™.
Beginning today, all Jack in the Box salads, including the Asian Chicken,
Chicken Club and Southwest Chicken, feature a new lettuce blend that’s primarily
romaine and spring mix, along with a choice of warm grilled or crispy chicken
strips. The salads will also be served in a new square container that’s more
user friendly and easy to grab on the go.
The limited-time BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad is topped with shredded cheddar
cheese, sliced cucumbers, grape tomatoes and red onion and served with ranch
dressing, a drizzle of barbecue sauce, barbecue-flavored tortilla strips, and
choice of chicken strips on the side.
“We’re always looking for ways to make great products even better,” said Teka
O’Rourke, director of menu marketing and promotions for Jack in the Box
restaurants. “So when our guests said they wanted more greens and warm chicken
with our salads, we made it happen.”
All of Jack’s Ultimate Salads, including the new BBQ Ranch Chicken Salad, are
available for the suggested price of $4.99, excluding tax, at all participating
Jack in the Box restaurants.
