ATLANTA, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- On September 3rd Hooters restaurants across the country will introduce 5 new seasonal menu items created with football fans in mind. The menu features great starter items including Boneless Wings shaken in wing sauce and Training Burgers, the pee wee version of the Hooters Classic More than a Mouthful Burger. The menu also includes 3 sandwiches large enough to satisfy anyone's hunger well into overtime, Double "D" (Double Decker) Burger, Sunday Pot Roast Sandwich and Double BLT.

"These items are a nice addition to the menu and give our football fans something new to sink their teeth into while they catch the games," said Scott Kinsey, Hooters Corporate Chef. "They have exceeded our expectations in test stores over the summer. We think we have some items that will make football fans touch down at Hooters."

The Training Burgers can be ordered with 4 or 6 mini burgers which are topped with American cheese, mustard and pickles and served around fried onion tanglers. Boneless Wings are all white-meat chicken breast tenders battered to order and shaken in a choice of Hooters 7 wing sauces. The Sunday Pot Roast Sandwich is a seasoned pot roast topped with sauteed onions, melted provolone cheese with a side of Dijon horseradish sauce and is served on Texas Toast. The Double BLT has nearly a half a pound of hickory-smoked bacon topped with lettuce and tomato loaded on Texas Toast. The Double "D" Burger is 1 lb of fresh ground beef topped with fried onion straws with choice of cheese, bacon, sauteed onions and mushrooms.
