Band Concerts at TI Las Vegas
LAS VEGAS—Treasure Island (TI) Resort & Casino is rolling out the
“Badgers Red” carpet with special events for all University of Wisconsin (UW)
fans leading up to the UW Badgers vs. UNLV Runnin’ Rebels football game. The
game will be held Saturday, Sept. 8 at Sam Boyd Stadium.
The nationally recognized UW Marching Band will perform live “pep rally”
concerts in the TI Ballroom Thursday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.
General admission tickets for each 90-minute show are priced at $30 in advance
or $40 on the day of the performance and include one complimentary drink (soda,
water or alcohol). Cash bars also will be available for those 21 years of age
and older. Tickets are available for purchase at the TI Box Office located next
to the Mystère Theatre or by calling 877-2-SHOW-LV. All attendees also will have
a chance to win a vacation package to the Kalahari Resort & Water Park in
Wisconsin Dells, WI.
The Sirens of TI will dedicate their live performances Thursday, Sept. 6 and
Friday, Sept. 7 at 7 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. to UW Badgers fans. The UW flag
will fly above The Sirens of TI Song ship while the UNLV flag will fly above the
Pirates Bull ship. Hotel guests arriving at least 30 minutes prior to each show
and wearing a UW Badgers shirt will receive access to a Sirens VIP viewing area.
Following the 7 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. special engagements, the cast of the show,
dressed in UW gear, will be available for meet-and-greet and photo
opportunities. On game day, fans can meet the Sirens of TI at the UW tailgate
party, to be held at the baseball fields on the east side of Sam Boyd Stadium,
from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. Take photos with your favorite Sirens and pick up a
complimentary autographed Sirens of TI calendar.
Kahunaville Island Restaurant & Party Bar at TI will feature
tailgate-style pool parties Thursday, Sept. 6 and Friday, Sept. 7 the entire day
and will offer Johnsonville® brats, Miller® beer and drink specials throughout
the weekend. Kahunaville also will provide live entertainment for fans, as well
as a grand prize giveaway which will include a vacation package to the Kalahari
Resort in Wisconsin Dells. In addition, Kahunaville will cater to the Green Bay
Packers fans with an opening season gameday party Sunday, Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. –
2 p.m. Admission to all of the Kahunaville events is free and open to the
public.
The TI Poker Room will host the UW Badgers Fans Texas Hold ‘em Tournament
Sunday, Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. – noon. Advance registration is required for the $50
buy-in and up to $5,000 in cash and TI casino promotional chips will be awarded.
Tournament entries will be accepted only in person at the TI Poker Room from
Monday, Sept. 3 through Saturday, Sept. 8. The Green Bay Packers vs.
Philadelphia Eagles game will be broadcast live on the multiple flat screen TVs
located in the TI Poker Room.
MIST Bar & Lounge at TI will offer Bud Light® drink specials for UW
Badgers fans during normal operating hours Thursday, Sept. 6 to Sunday, Sept.
9.

Saturday, Sept. 8 from the Breeze Bar at TI from 5 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. CST/3 a.m. –
6:30 a.m. PST. Their sister station, ESPN 1070 AM, will broadcast live at the
same location from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. CST/1 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Funjet Vacations will have a UW Badgers Fans hospitality desk open near the
TI front lobby Thursday, Sept. 6 – Sunday, Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
