FRESH & EASY OPENS THREE ADDITIONAL STORES IN LAS VEGAS

Grocer brings quality jobs and fresh, affordable food to more neighborhoods
LAS VEGAS, Nevada - Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market today opened another three stores in Las Vegas, which bring quality jobs and fresh, wholesome food at affordable prices to even more neighborhoods. With today's store openings, Fresh & Easy's now has 22 open in the Las Vegas area. The stores that opened today include:
* Eastern & Fremont
* Las Vegas & Pecos
* Las Vegas & Lake Mead
Dozens of neighbors lined up outside the stores and joined local dignitaries for grand opening celebrations at all three stores. Three separate local charities were selected for a donation by each store's staff from neighborhood nominations made through Fresh & Easy's web site (www.freshandeasy.com/goodneighbor).
The charities include:
* Reaching Our Community Kids - Eastern & Fremont
* Youth Advocate Program - Las Vegas & Pecos
* Trinity United Methodist Church - Las Vegas & Lake Mead
"We're proud to have opened in so many different types of neighborhoods throughout Las Vegas," said Fresh & Easy CEO Tim Mason. "With every store we open, we create more local, competitive jobs and bring quality food at great prices to the neighborhood."
The three additional Fresh & Easy stores opening next month in Clark County include:
* Vegas & Buffalo - October 15th
* Eastern & Wigwam - October 29th
* Vegas & Jones - October 29th
The company currently has 93 stores in California, Arizona and Nevada.

At roughly 10,000 square feet, Fresh & Easy markets are smaller than the typical supermarket to give customers a faster, easier shopping experience. In addition to fresh, prepared meals and produce, Fresh & Easy offers everyone's favorite national brand products and household items, all at everyday low prices.
Each store employs approximately 20 to 30 people. All Fresh & Easy employees are given the opportunity to work at least 20 hours per week, which entitles them to comprehensive and affordable healthcare. Entry-level positions start at $10 an hour in Nevada, with similarly competitive salaries in other states, and offer a quarterly bonus of up to 10% and a 401(K) with company match.
