Last night's stock car racing program at the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway
has been cancelled due to weather. The annual Keith Danser Candy Toss will be
rescheduled to a later date on the 2008 racing calendar.
"The Bullring was hit with two rainstorms this morning and tonight's
forecasts all call for more rain," said Chris Blair, LVMS' vice president of
racing operations. "The rain, coupled with wind and low temperatures caused us
to make this decision. We are cancelling at 12:30 p.m. in order to allow our
fans and race teams to make other plans."
The next scheduled race date at the Bullring will be Saturday, May 31. For
