Desert View Drive on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park has been closed because of snow and ice accumulation. Desert View Drive (Hwy 64) runs along the east rim of Grand Canyon between South Rim Village and Desert View. Hermit Road is also closed at this time. Both roads will remain closed until further notice. South Entrance and other South Rim Village roads remain open, but are very slick. Motorists are advised to use caution while driving in the park.
