Development Project Closes Rainbow Boulevard Between Lone Mountain Road And Red Coach Avenue

Starting Monday, February 26, and continuing through the next three weeks, Rainbow Boulevard will be completely closed to traffic between Lone Mountain Road and Red Coach Avenue. The eastbound lane on Lone Mountain Road will also be closed at the Rainbow intersection, and traffic will be reduced to one lane of travel in each direction on this section of roadway.
The temporary road closures are necessary as crews do road improvement work on this section of Rainbow Boulevard and Lone Mountain Road.
Resident and business access will be detoured to Balsam Avenue. Tenaya Way and Rancho Boulevard are suggested as alternate routes for north-south travel and Craig Road is suggested for east-west travel while these temporary traffic disruptions are in effect.
