SANTA MONICA, CA--(Marketwire - April 10, 2008) - Osmondmania is back in force as "The Osmonds 50th Anniversary Reunion Concert Live in Las Vegas," one of PBS' top pledge drive programs this season, made its debut at #3 on Billboard magazine's Top Music Video sales charts this week while the 2 DVD Collector's Edition version reached #16. In addition, the companion CD entered the Billboard Top 200 chart. The Osmond family recently reunited to celebrate a historic 50th anniversary and performed live together for the first time in 27 years at the Orleans Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas last year. The reunion has sparked a whole new wave of "Osmondmania" -- the family has recently appeared on Oprah, Larry King Live, Good Morning America, Dancing With The Stars and Entertainment Tonight. Upcoming activities include a tour of the UK and Southeast Asia and a flurry of TV, movie and album projects. Donny and Marie are particularly busy as they host the Miss USA Pageant on April 11th, as well as co-hosting "America's Favorite Mom," a special that airs on Mother's Day on NBC which celebrates the centennial anniversary of the holiday. Last night they appeared as Jay Leno's guests on the Tonight Show. Produced by Jimmy Osmond, the special is a lively mix of The Osmond's biggest hits in all of their incarnations incorporating video clips and guest artists such as Andy Williams (on whose '60s television program the family first came to national attention). The arena tour begins in the UK on May 18th in Belfast with dates quickly selling out (2 dates are already sold out at Wembley Arena!).
